Roof Covering: Roof Felt Included. Floor Bearers: Included (Pressure Treated).

Guarantee: 10 Years on Pressure Treated Timber against Rot and Insect Infestation. DIY Assembly Time: 1-2 Days. Assembly Fixings & Instructions: All included. Water resistant and easy to install, MFP is included for the roof and floor of the Talia Shed so there are no hidden costs when ordering.

The water-resistant flooring will help keep your equipment free from damp, and the roof board provides a sturdy surface. The shelf in the Tool Shed can be fixed in a position to suit you. It can be set at the height you want to easily fit your equipment and gain better access to it.

This makes the tool shed a truly flexible garden building! This rail at the rear of the shed was specially added in the design process so that you could put hooks into it and hang tools all along it.

This maximises the space and minimises the clutter! Shiplap cladding is named after the old boatmaking technique where the boards overlap. This means that the natural timber can expand and contract with the seasons and not create gaps.

The curve or channel of shiplap cladding enables water to run off easily, helping to protect your toolshed from the effects of dampness. Our Toolshed is over 2 metres high, which is nearly seven feet! The door walkthrough height is 1.70m and the walkthrough width is 0.67m. You are very unlikely to bump your head once you are inside, and you can store long tools safely away in this space-saving shed, rather than trying to wedge them diagonally into a shorter building. By pressure treating our floor bearers we protect the lowest part of the building from rot and insect infestation.

This forces the treatment deep into the timber using a large pressure treatment tank. Due to this costly but effective process we can offer our customers a genuine 10 year guarantee against rot and insect infestation on the floor bearers. We do not offer installation. All our garden buildings have been designed for the DIY market and supplied with full pictorial instructions.

Despite the care we take in selecting the very best Timber available, it can still be unpredictable as its very nature is to be porous and swell up when it gets wet. Any wooden product will do this throughout its life, but there are a few things you can do to help limit this movement. We would recommend that you use an appropriate water repellent treatment.

This helps minimise the amount of moisture that the timber can absorb and thus minimises the risk of any major movement. (Please note: water repellent treatment is not the same as pressure treatment). Keeping your timber building ventilated is no less important than keeping your house well ventilated. This is especially true if you plan to cover up your floorboards with something (double check with an expert, that the material is suitable to do so), as moisture can become trapped between layers of non-breathable materials and build-up, leading to floors becoming rotten.

Whether you opt to build your product yourself, do not be afraid to tighten the odd bolt here and there. Your product is a long-term investment, so it is only right to give it some love and care from time to time. Make sure that it is properly treated before the rainy months, and that you make adjustments to doors and or window frames when needed. We recommend a flat, level concrete base with an allowance of at least 100mm on each side.

A 4m by 3m building would have a base of 4.2m by 3.2m. The curve or channel of shiplap cladding enables water to run off easily. Our shed models come in different sizes you can choose from.

This allows us to ensure consistent quality of our products and precise cuts made by our machines. All our products are delivered using our own fleet of vehicles, not sub-contractors. We apologise for any inconvenience, but.
